Arroyo Trabuco Wedding | Michelle + Brian :: 06.29.08

It was a great day today at the beautiful Arroyo Trabuco in Mission Viejo. I was really looking forward to this wedding ever since we met with Michelle and Brian. Since Erin was at home recovering from her surgery, I had two great second shooters with me today. Special thanks to Carlos Palos (yep he’s my dad) and Carrie Warner. It was really great working with Alyson from Arroyo, she was on top of every little detail and made the day flow perfectly. Thank you again Michelle and Brian for having us be a part of your special day.

Private Residence Wedding | Kaila + Nik :: 06.28.08

Kaila and Nik tied the knot at a private residence in Cherry Valley. They are so in love and it really showed as Nik shed tears of joy as he watched his beautiful bride come down the aisle. This was such a beautiful and fun wedding! Congratulations again Kaila and Nik, I hope you two are having a great honeymoon!

Interpretive Center Wedding | Ashley + Ray :: 06.21.08

Ashley and Ray tied the knot at the Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. Ashley was such a beautiful natural bride and looked amazing in her Vera Wang wedding gown. These two are such an adorable couple and I can tell that they are going to have a very fun life together! We have to apologize for such a late blog post, I think this is the latest we have ever posted before. As much as I don’t like to make excuses I actually do have a really good one.

Half way through this wedding I started feeling very sick like I was starting to get the flu. For the next couple days it started getting worse until I started getting dizzy and having terrible abdominal pains. I went to the Emergency Room on Tuesday evening and they told me that I had a swollen Gallbladder that was very infected. The next day I had surgery to have my Gallbladder removed which was supposed to be a quick hospital stay but ended up with me having to stay until Saturday under observation to make sure the infection didn’t spread. Louis was at my side pretty much the whole time except for Saturday when he went to go shoot Kaila and Nik’s wedding (post coming soon). I feel so bad for missing the two weddings over the weekend but luckily Louis had great second shooters to fill in for me. We want to sincerely apologize for being late on emails and blogging and anything else that may have gone overlooked last week. I am recovering well and don’t anticipate any more time in the hospital.

Ashley and Ray, I hope you two had a great road trip, enjoy your pictures!

~Erin
