Three days straight of shooting! It’s was actually four days if you count Erin’s newborn shoot the day after this engagement session. Today we shot Marylynn and Will in Laguna Beach. We were really excited because this was actually our first meeting with them too! They currently live in New York and will be celebrating their wedding next summer here in California. They were both a little camera shy at first, but I think the four of us clicked really fast and soon enough we were laughing and joking around like old friends. We had a great time with you both and look forward to seeing you again in June!

As you can see we didn’t get much of break during the holidays! Today Erin and I shot Mari and Michael at the Claremont Colleges. We’ve actually known Mari for a few years, and at one time I was even Mari’s boss! I’m pretty sure I was best boss she ever had too, good times. We and are super excited that these two are getting married next summer. We look forward to seeing you both again soon!

This marks our last wedding for 2008! I remember when we first met with Chia and Gene and it seemed like their wedding date was so far away. 2008 went by so quickly but we had a great time with all of our couples and are so lucky to have had the pleasure to photograph so many beautiful weddings and meet so many great people. This wedding was a great way to end the year. One of our favorite and fun coordinators, Brenda Swann of Swann Soirees was with us tonight and flawlessly coordinated the gorgeous reception. We also worked with a great team of videographers from DVArtistry who did an amazing job and put together an awesome same day edited preview during the reception. Thank you again Chia and Gene and we hope your enjoying your Disney Honeymoon!
